Stratospheric and Tropospheric REsearch And Modeling

The Stratospheric and Tropospheric REsearch And Modeling (STREAM) group is a research team of the Universidad Complutense de Madrid devoted to the analysis and modeling of the atmospheric circulation and climate variability. Currently, the group has about ten members, including permanent staff, post-doctoral and PhD students. We have more than 10 years of experience in the field, with a large network of national and international collaborations. The research activity of STREAM is organized around five main topics: climate reconstruction in the last 500 years, tropospheric climate variability, dynamics of the middle atmosphere, extreme events and atmospheric composition.

A 3-year postdoc position is available in our group to work on Detection & Attribution of Extremes (EU-funded H2020 CLINT project). Expected start date: 2021 (Flexible). Advisors: David Barriopedro and Ricardo GarcĂa-Herrera Click here for more info and how to apply
